Even the simplest of mods can achieve the most astounding and moving results. Color filters are the staple tool of stage and screen light technicians, they can also play some nice tricks when combined with your Holga.

If you're using color film, the filters can create brilliant, vivid colors and tones as well as add interesting double-exposure possibilities. Using black and white film will brighten or dim contrast depending on the filter used (just like using them in the darkroom).

polaroids.

Polaroids aren't really lomography, but they are still inspirational and interesting photographs. (As well as easily manipulated.)

some of my negatives

my tool

this is the holga 120 mm film camera. it's made entirely out of plastic (with some metal parts). the most important part, though, is that the lens is made of plastic. i love this camera because it's completely out of control. aperture, exposure, everything--completely up to fate; as you can assume, so is the resulting photograph.

lomography is about being in the moment by producing effects like light leaks, vignette framing and deep saturated colors in photography.

i'll be posting tools for creating interesting pictures as well as others' work and my own.

please enjoy.
